Knowledgeable, and passionate about his city, Owen Courrèges is a New Orleanian in the most classic sense; he’s continually willing to defend what’s right even if it’s the hard choice to make.
Through his law offices in the garden district, Owen works tirelessly on behalf of the underserved, and challenges social injustices that plague the Crescent City. A contributor to the Uptown Messenger, Owen is a widely read civil critic that strives to see New Orleans be the greatest city in America, while never tarnishing it’s charm.
Owen has been through three hurricanes since becoming one of New Orleans brightest law minds, and refuses to leave his home town. His dedication to New Orleans is palpable, and wears his love of the city like a proud badge of honor. His offices at 1450 Josephine are a monument to rebuilding, and understanding that loving and living in New Orleans can be hard work, but no matter what the labor, it’s always worth it.
A graduate of Rice University in Houston, and later graduating Tulane Law School with honors, Owen has been practicing for over five years, and has represented clients in Louisiana at all levels of litigation. Offering aggressive, capable, but cost effective services, the goal of Courrèges Law is to give top notch, affordable legal services to everyone in the greater New Orleans area.
